The nub isn’t enough to use for leverage. I have the August Pro Lock and it’s a round cylinder with a very slight nub. It’s easier to turn for one, and you can easily tell if the door is locked from a distant. I give them credit for experimenting and breaking away from traditional deadbolt lever but they need to improve their current design and take some clues from the traditional lever. This is where the August design fails and they prioritized form over function.
